of your own amount of practise time between lessons, many people think that just because they HAVE a guitar tutor, that they will be Jimi Hendrix (or whoever it is you like, let's not go there right now) in no time: It doesn't work this way, you need to put in as much practise as you can to really make the most of our sessions and your money and learning. I have worked with all age groups ranging from 7 to 65 (I will not accept students under the ages of 7), and also have experience with teaching to children and adults alike with additional needs. We can keep it casual and learn at your own pace, or we can go through Rock School's graded system for that full blown karate black belt tier, it's entirely up to you! Cancellations made within 6-hour period prior to your booking will be charged at 50% of the rate of your lesson. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the lesson will be charged at the rate of the lesson. I ask that you give me as much notice as possible when cancelling a lesson as freeing up slots allows me to reschedule people looking for a more desired time slot. I also understand sometimes life gets in the way and making that cancellation is not always a desired option, you will not be blacklisted or treated any differently because of any cancellation you make. As mentioned above, life can sometimes get in the way and should you wish to reschedule the lesson for the same week at a different time that is convenient and that fits my schedule, you will not be charged a cancellation fee. I will always work with you to find the best option to not incur charges, but please note that I cannot guarantee anything. What if you cancel a booking Luke? I reserve the right to cancel bookings right up until the time of your lesson, but only ever if absolutely necessary and unavoidable. If I cancel a booking within 3 hours prior to the lesson time, you will receive 50% off your next lesson. If I cancel you up to 90 minutes before the lesson, you will receive your next lesson for free. If, however the nature of my cancellation within 90 minutes is out of my hands such as traffic for home visits or technical issues for zoom lessons, I reserve the right to not give any money off the next lesson. Please be prompt and on time for online lessons, I don’t enjoy sitting in a waiting room looking at my beautiful orange barnet on we**am. I will wait 33% of the lesson time and then the lesson will be cancelled, and you will still have to pay for your lesson in full. For example, if you have a 30 minute lesson booked, I will wait 10 minutes (probably 12, I’m quite nice) before leaving the meeting room, and if it’s an hour I will wait 20 minutes before the lesson is void. Leeway can sometimes be given if you really can’t help the circumstances, but most of the time I have a lesson booked in right after you, so cannot wait. Punctuation with IN-PERSON Lessons
Obviously if you’re not in when I arrive for your in-person lesson, full payment of your lesson will be required. I will wait up to ten minutes if you are running late, and may be able to be flexible if you make me aware, but this is all subject to what I have booked up after your lesson.
