Recent client projects, biggest challenges… and the solutions ✨

One thing I always say is that no two organising projects are ever the same.

Recently I’ve helped clients with:
⭐️Overwhelming hallways that had become dumping grounds
⭐️Garages full of “I’ll deal with it later” items
⭐️Wardrobes packed with clothes that no longer fit their lifestyle
⭐️Family homes preparing for a move
⭐️Kids’ spaces that had become impossible to keep on top of

The biggest challenge is rarely “too much stuff.”

Usually it’s:
💛 not knowing where to start
💛 systems no longer working for real life
💛 delayed decisions
💛 busy schedules leaving no time to reset things properly

The solutions are often simpler than people expect:

✔ creating clearer zones
✔ reducing friction in everyday routines
✔ simplifying storage
✔ making systems easier to maintain

Homes don’t need perfection. They just need to work better for the people living in them 🤍

Decluttering becomes much easier when you stop asking “what should I give away?” and start asking “what do I actually want to keep?”

That small reframe changes everything.
Because suddenly the focus isn’t on loss, guilt or getting rid of things.

It’s about identifying what supports your life, what you use, what you enjoy and what deserves space in your home.

I see it all the time with clients, once people stop approaching decluttering as chore and start viewing it as choosing what matters most, the whole process feels lighter.

Your home doesn’t need less for the sake of less.
It just needs more room for the things that truly belong there 🤍

Being organised as a small business owner doesn’t mean having everything perfectly together all the time.

It usually means creating systems that stop small tasks turning into big stressful ones later.

Here a few things I always encourage:
✅ Submitting tax returns early instead of living with the deadline hanging over you
✅ Regularly reviewing insurance policies rather than forgetting about them for years
✅ Keeping important documents somewhere easy to access
✅ Scheduling small admin check-ins instead of letting things build up
✅ Making systems simple enough to maintain during busy periods

Running a business already comes with enough mental load. The less energy spent firefighting forgotten admin, the more space you have for the work you actually enjoy.

Sometimes the simplest systems make a huge difference 🤍

Life is too short for a wardrobe full of clothes you don’t love.

Especially in summer.

This time of year has a way of making people suddenly realise how many things they own… but never actually choose to wear.

The dress that almost fits.
The top bought for a version of yourself that no longer exists.
The “just in case” pieces taking up space while your actual favourites are crammed together.

Your wardrobe should make getting dressed feel easier, not more frustrating.

There’s something really freeing about opening your wardrobe and seeing clothes that genuinely fit your life, your style and how you want to feel now.

Summer’s too short to spend it wearing things you don’t even like 🤍

✨ A slightly different Monday post… I’m looking for a Vinted seller/business to partner with Clean Slate ✨

One thing I’m seeing more and more with clients is this:
They want to declutter.

They know they have good quality clothes they no longer wear.

But they simply don’t have the time, energy or headspace to photograph, list, package and manage selling everything themselves.

So I’d love to build a partnership with a local Vinted seller or business who would be interested in receiving regular referrals from a professional organiser.

A lot of my clients would genuinely benefit from having someone trusted who can help turn unwanted clothing into a simpler process (and hopefully some extra money back too).

If you’re a Vinted seller, or know someone brilliant who is, I’d love to hear from you 🤍

Please feel free to message me directly or tag someone below.

Little, underrated organsing that make life so much easier.

Being organised isn’t always about colour-coded cupboards and perfectly folded clothes and in fact some of the biggest stress-saving wins are the seemingly boring little life admin jobs we’re all tempted to put off.

Things like:
✅ Setting up postal voting before you need it
✅ Checking your passport expiry date before booking the holiday
✅ Knowing when your car insurance renews
✅ Making sure your driving licence details are up to date
✅ Renewing things early instead of last minute panicking

These tiny tasks don’t feel exciting at the time… but future you will be very grateful.

Because a lot of organising is really just reducing unnecessary stress before it appears.

Getting organised doesn’t mean changing who you are…

It means changing the systems around you so they better support the life you want to live.

I think people often assume organising means becoming a completely different person, more disciplined, more minimal, more productive.

Most of the time it’s much simpler than that.
It’s creating homes and routines that work with you instead of against you.

A landing spot for the things you always lose.
A wardrobe that actually reflects your life now.
Systems that are easy enough to maintain when life gets busy.

You don’t need to become a different person to feel more organised. Sometimes you just need systems that make everyday life feel easier.
