De line-up is compleet… en wat voor één.
Voor de headliner van Rituals of Doom verwelkomen we niemand minder dan:

💀 Officium Triste.💀

Sinds 1994 behoort deze legendarische Nederlandse doom/deathformatie tot de absolute top van het genre. Met hun loodzware, melancholische en meeslepende sound wist Officium Triste internationaal diepe indruk te maken binnen de doomscene.

Geïnspireerd door grootheden als Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Anathema en Katatonia bouwde de band door de jaren heen aan een indrukwekkend oeuvre met albums als Ne Vivam, The Pathway, Reason en Giving Yourself Away.

Daarnaast deelden ze het podium met bands als Candlemass, Swallow the Sun en Anathema en stonden ze op gerenommeerde doomfestivals door heel Europa.

Rituals of Doom krijgt hiermee een waardige en monumentale afsluiter 😈

Our personal copies of this new compilation dropped and Metal Star did a great job on these. The mediabook looks incredible.
Basically this is a compilation with 5 songs. Both tracks from the split with Ophis we did in 2012 that haven't been available on CD for some time. The Editors cover we did plus the demo version of World in Flames we recorded at the same time in 2017. The latter has only been released as a bonus track on the tape version of The Death of Gaia. Last but not least Morose, which was released as a very limited single and has appeared on a FYU compilation. So, all in all this is a pretty cool release. But not available from us.
It's basically intended for the CIS countries. It's limited to 333 copies.

This is the last cover we recorded. Basically to test out a studio for drum recordings. It's also a fantastic song. We originally released it digitally only. The cover art of course a nod to the Editors. The photo was shot by our former guitarist Bram.
Later on we added the song to our Born to Lose, Doomed to Die compilation. And more recently it was added to the new Bittersweet Memories compilation.

This cover we did is a special one. We used to play it at our live shows in our early years a lot. Anathama definitely was one of our main inspirations. To this day Sleepless still is a killer song.
In 2012 we decided to record it. In 2019 we finally released in physical format.
The double CD Born to Lose, Doomed to Die is still available. And it's a special release to us.
