During the European Heritage Days 2026, I had the pleasure of discovering this remarkable funerary monument: a copy of the tomb of Emperor Charles V (Charles Quint) and Isabella of Portugal.

As a painter and an artist deeply passionate about heritage and the history of Versailles, discovering such extraordinary works is a true source of inspiration. Standing before these sculptures, one can almost feel the centuries of history, art and memory they carry. 🏛️👑

While exploring this extraordinary historic setting on the rue de l’Indépendance Américaine at the "Cour de Monsieur", I drew inspiration from the statues of Louis XVI and Louis XVIII, witnessed a remarkable Renaissance funerary monument — a copy of the tomb of Emperor Charles V (Charles Quint) and his wife, Isabella of Portugal — and discovered the monumental globe commissioned by Louis XVI for the education of the Dauphin. 🌍👑

The opening of the Cour de Monsieur was part of Versailles’ 2026 Heritage Days programme commemorating 250 years of American independence.

A journey through art, history, royalty, and forgotten details — where every corner tells a story. 🏛️🌍✨

Un beau souvenir du Château de Monte-Cristo, avec l’Orchestre des Mousquetaires de l’Anjou et leur spectacle « D’Artagnan, le mousquetaire favori du Roi-Soleil ».

Cuivres, costumes et musique nous plongent au cœur de l’univers d’Alexandre Dumas, sur les pas de D’Artagnan. ✨

"The Indifferent One"

Preparing this print for framing brought me back to it after many years. It's remarkable how a work can remain silent for so long, only to reveal something new when you return to it with fresh eyes.

I no longer work in lithography, but this print remains an important chapter in my artistic journey. Looking back reminds me that every medium leaves its mark on the way we continue to see and create.

There's something about carousels that always makes me happy. 🎠 💛🧡
I couldn't resist this beautiful red and gold one in Villers-Cotterêts. ✨

The most beautiful encounters are often the ones we never expect. 🙂🤍

While sketching in the charming streets of Villers-Cotterêts, I was joined by this gentle four-legged friend. He quietly stayed by my side, making the moment even more special. It's amazing how simple, unexpected connections can leave such a lasting impression.

Sometimes, the best memories are the ones that aren't planned.

30e édition du Mois Molière ✨
Du Jardin des Italiens à l'Hôtel de Ville, des Arènes des Grands Chênes à la Salle du Jeu de Paume, en passant par Le Bateau et le Conservatoire de Versailles Grand Parc, j'ai eu le privilège d'immortaliser les plus beaux souvenirs de cette 30ᵉ édition du Mois Molière à Versailles.

Chaque spectacle, chaque rencontre et chaque croquis racontent un moment unique de ce festival exceptionnel. Une aventure inoubliable, riche en émotions, en créativité et en partage.

Un immense merci à tous les artistes talentueux qui ont fait de cette édition un moment si mémorable. Ce fut un véritable honneur de croquer ces instants sur le vif. 🎭✍️
