MUSICAL NIGHTS IN UZÈS
18 to 31 July 2014

Every year, Musical Nights in Uzès, a very popular meeting place for music-lovers, hosts the greatest classical and Baroque music performers, such as Philippe Jaroussky, Jordi Savall, the Labèque sisters, Fazil Say, Concerto Italiano and Collegium 1704 from Prague.

For two weeks, the first Duchy of France thrills to the sounds of the concerts performed in the town’s symbolic venues, such as Saint Théodorit cathedral and the Court of Honour of the Duchy.

The Uzès Dance contemporary dance festival was created in 1997 and takes place in Uzès in June every year.

Over one week, talented French and European choreographers perform in the unique venues of the ducal town, including the garden of the Bishops’ Palace, the Duchy Park and the Media centre chapel.

The fringe festival consists of cafe-meetings with artists, exhibitions and workshops.
