Today marks a year since I lost a little piece of myself ❤️‍🩹
She lives on in all of our memories but what I wouldn’t give to just have one more day..
I miss you lots and lots girlie ❤️

It’s no secret that 2025 hasn’t been my favourite year for obvious reasons but I’m also leaving this year feeling extremely grateful for the people I have surrounded myself with ❤️‍🩹

It has been a very different year for me but lots of fun and cool memories have been made along the way!
Been grooming at a couple of 5*’s, a nations cup and the European Championship as well as spending lots of hours in the saddle.
I’ve also had more time to spend with friends, family and a few trips home to ride the youngsters.

Looking forward to 2026, lots of exciting things coming up! 🥂

Yesterday marked a year since Dicte became a 5* horse and fulfilling yet another of my childhood dreams, so I thought it was a perfect reason to post some pictures of my horse of a life time ❤️

Must admit I’ve missed competing at these events this year and Boekelo will always be really special to me and it’s always been made even better with the great hospitality at the Military Boekelo MembersClub ☺️

🐴 Familie, passie en paarden op nummer één! 💚
Via “Meet the Stars” maakte de Membersclub in 2022 kennis met de Deense deelneemster Sara Bech, Sara Bech Eventing, toen zij voor het eerst deelnam aan de Military Boekelo-Enschede. In 2023 kwam Sara terug en voelde zich opnieuw van harte welkom bij de Members. Met haar paard Dicte behaalde Sara een prachtig resultaat in Boekelo, die haar deelname mogelijk maakten aan de 5* evenementen in Luhmühlen en Pau in 2024.
Afgelopen weekend waren haar ouders, Ulah en Jan Bech, aanwezig bij de Members om te genieten van het evenement en de geweldige sfeer vanaf de zijlijn. We hopen de familie Bech snel weer te mogen verwelkomen in Boekelo — dit keer misschien met het nieuwe paard dat Ulah momenteel opleidt. Een hechte familie, met een gedeelde passie waarin de paarden altijd op nummer één staan.

It’s with very heavy hearts that we have to announce that we have lost our most precious girl this week…
After a freak field injury we thought we had under control, things took a drastic turn and there was unfortunately no more we could do than to give her the peace she deserved.

This has been the toughest few months for me and the team, doing everything in our power to get her right and coming up short in the end.
Dicte means the absolute world to me, she’s not only the best horse I’ve ever had but also the best friend a girl could have wished to grow up with. She made dreams come true that I didn’t even dare to have but also had the kindest nature that affected a lot of people on her path ❤️ she truly made me proud in every aspect and feel so very lucky ❤️
I will miss her endlessly every day but I know she’s in a better place now, pain free and galloping around some big tracks with her heavenly friends 🕊️🌈

I am a young lightweight female Danish 5* Event rider who has been based here in the UK for the last 5 years. I have produced my own home bred horse up to 5*, and hope to compete in the Europeans later this year.
Over the last 5 years, I have ridden for and run several top professional event yards including grooming at Badminton and Maryland.

As well as schooling and competing, I am happy to help with groundwork, lunging, hacking, schooling and fast work
I am also happy to help with clipping/trimming and getting your horses ready for the season ahead.

I am based in BA7 and am available to come to you or meet you at competition venues.

As we start a new year I start a new chapter in my life.

After 3 great years with the Fox Pitt team it is time for me to venture out on new adventures.

We have had a blast and I have learned so much from everyone. I am really grateful for William, Jackie and Alice for bringing me along for the ride and giving me great opportunities!

Everything from competing young horses to grooming at Maryland and Badminton 5*, to getting my own 5* qualification and first completion!
And not to forget being a part of incredible Olympic journey!

Such great memories made for life! It’s been an absolute pleasure!
