A man...on a road...following a light. I worked for K-LOVE for 20 years.

The level of volunteerism in the fellowship is absolutely amazing! I’ve never seen such a large percentage of people so involved in any church of which we’ve been involved. Great job, everyone!

We used to joke about how one day they’d be selling bottled water! 💦

Our church (The Father’s House) sponsors the Oroville Mud Run every year. It’s an amazing event where thousands of people come from miles away. This 2 day event draws thousands of participants and spectators every year. It’s a great family event with food, fun and festivities.

Remembering a friend. I was thinking about her a lot lately. I’ve been reflecting on her life.

Mandisa was the kind of person who could turn a simple hangout into something unforgettable. We spent time together, sang together, and talked late into the night about God, life, and the things that really matter. She had a way of making faith feel honest, not polished, and of reminding you that joy and struggle can live in the same story.

She loved deeply, laughed freely, and brought a brightness that people felt right away. Even in seasons when she carried heavy burdens, she kept pointing others toward hope, grace, and the comfort of God’s presence.

She’s singing still…

Robert “Peabo” Bryson has passed.

He was born April 13, 1951, in Greenville, South Carolina, and had given us nearly 60 years of music that spoke directly to the heart.

Peabo’s velvety tenor became synonymous with romantic wonder through two timeless Disney duets. His “Beauty and the Beast” with Celine Dion won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, and “A Whole New World” from Aladdin, sung with Regina Belle, won both the Academy Award and Grammy for Song of the Year. These songs became wedding first dances and proposal anthems for generations.
His romantic duets with Roberta Flack—“Tonight, I Celebrate My Love,” “You’re Looking Like Love to Me,” and “Feel the Fire”—remain quintessential love songs of the 1980s and beyond.

Peabo earned two Grammy Awards for artistic excellence and won two Academy Awards for his songs…a rare achievement for any recording artist.

He had been receiving care after suffering a stroke late last month.

Peobo Bryson was 75.
