From October 27th to October 29th, 120 young European students will gather in the wonderful city of Paris for the University Forum on Human Rights
Vous êtes intéressés par les Droits de l’Homme ? Vous aimez débattre, en français ou en anglais ? Vous voulez rencontrer d’autres étudiants et profiter d’un événement formateur et fun ? Le Forum Etudiant des Droits de l’Homme (FEDH) aura lieu à la Sorbonne les 27, 28 et 29 octobre 2015. Son but : réunir une centaine d’étudiants pour débattre sur des questions d’actualité liées aux Droits de l’Homm
e. Les étudiants débattront par petits groupes, chacun sur un sujet spécifique de leur choix (liberté d’expression, droits des femmes…), avant de se réunir lors de l’Assemblée générale, pour débattre de tous ces sujets et voter l’adoption ou le rejet des propositions élaborées par chaque groupe. Une conférence sur les Droits de l’Homme en Europe, avec des invités spécialistes (Geneviève Garrigos, présidente d’Amnesty France, Enrico Letta ancien Premier Ministre italien…) fait également partie du Forum. Et en prime, une soirée et un eurovillage (où l’on mange des spécialités de toute l’Europe) sont au programme ! The European Youth Parliament (EYP), which was founded in 1987 as the project of a school in Fontainebleau (France), is a unique forum designed to actively engage young people in the moulding of their future society. The EYP represents a non-partisan and independent educational project which is tailored entirely to the needs of the young European citizen. The EYP encourages independent thinking and socio-political initiative in young people and facilitates the learning of crucial social and professional skills. Since its inauguration, many tens of thousands of young people have taken part in regional, national and international sessions, formed friendships and made international contacts across and beyond borders. The EYP has thus made a vital contribution towards uniting Europe. Today the EYP is one of the largest European platforms for political debate, intercultural encounters,political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people in Europe. The EYP consists of a network of 36 European associations and organisations in which thousands of young people are active in a voluntary capacity. The international umbrella organisation of the EYP is the Schwarzkopf Foundation. In September 2015, the city of Paris will be privileged to host 3 days of heated debates and intercultural dialogue about the Human Rights.
