The Air Apparent Inspiration comes from anywhere. He said he wanted the Air Max to tell its own story. And what an epic it became.

Air Max 1 architect Tinker Hatfield was inspired by a building that let you see its guts—the Pompidou Center in Paris—when he made the monumental decision to pop two windows into the shoe’s midsole.
