The Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina are officially open!
Italy is hosting this ultimate test of endurance in its icy arena from Feb 6-22 for the Olympic Games and March 6-15, 2026 for the Paralympic Games.

The first Olympic Winter games were hosted nearly a 100 years ago, in 1924, in charming Chamonix, France( see the advert for it in a French paper).

The last time the Italians hosted the winter games was in 1956 in Cortina d’ Ampezzo! And there’s no looking back since! The town, in the heart of the southern Dolomites, quickly became a glamorous and prestigious ski and winter destination.

Did you know that Italy has the highest number of UNESCO World Heritage sites . The Dolomites were included in this prestigious list in 2009.

Les Jeux olympiques d’hiver de Milan-Cortina sont officiellement ouverts !

L’Italie accueille cet événement exceptionnel du 6 au 22 février pour les Jeux olympiques et du 6 au 15 mars 2026 pour les Jeux paralympiques.
