Hellooooo and happy (almost) fall!! It’s been awhile since I’ve posted here and there are lots of new faces, so I think it’s a good time for introductions. My name is Devon, I’m originally from the US but I’ve lived in France for over a decade and received my French nationality a few years ago 🇫🇷 No matter what, I’ll always be a Kentucky girl at heart 💙 I’m a singer, songwriter and storyteller. I LOVE MUSICAL THEATRE 🎶 I am mom to three amazing kiddos and married to a charming Frenchman 💕 I never would’ve imagined that I’d live in Paris and the magic has still not worn off ✨

I have a few songs that blew up on French radio over the past few years, so if you keep your ears out for me in Zara, the supermarket and beyond, you’ll hear me! 🤩🤩🔥🔥💕💕

This summer was a whirlwind as I performed original music at the Festival of Avignon for the first time. I absolutely loved being immersed in the theatre community for a month and accompanying an incredible cast of artists. We’ve got dates for the show, “Cleopatre” coming up in the Paris region this fall and spring—more info soon!

I am also working on new music for two of my own projects—one pop 🔥 and one rock 🤘 as well as lyrics for some incredibly talented singers 🎶

Scenes from our concert! What an absolute joy to arrange, perform and share some of my new tunes with .preite .clare.woody and 💕 I rarely get to perform with a full band and it is a GIFT. Not sure I’ll ever be able to go back to acoustic 😂 We’ve got one more show tonight at the Petit Louvre theatre in Avignon at 21h (9pm). I’m going to soak up every second of it and I’d be thrilled if you did, too!

AVIGNOOOOON !!!! We’re heeeeere !!! I have been absent on here for awhile because I had too much going on—my family was visiting, my kids were finishing school, “Cleopatra” played our first dates!! I was living all of those moments and it was wonderful 💕 Now that I have taken the right train on the right day and made it to Avignon, I’ll be sharing once again! I’m here for the theatre festival and you can find me in two places : performing live, original music for “Cleopatre : La Reine Louve” at the Theatre du Chêne Noir every day at 12h15 from July 5th-26th (except Tuesdays) and July 13th, 18th and 20th at the Petit Louvre theatre at 21h05 for a concert of original songs called “Trois Voix, Troix Voyages”! .clare.woody and will also be doing sets for that concert and it’s going to be 🔥🔥🔥!!! Hope to see you this month!!

Heyyyy Internet! I’m here! I’m alive! I can’t believe that April is drawing to a close and as of tomorrow, in the words of *NSYNC, “IT’S GONNA BE MAY” 😁 April was a very full month, hence my virtual silence—I was doing too many things in real life! I spent 3 out of 4 weeks of it finalizing “Cleopatra” with our incredible team, and I can confirm that we’re ready for our first performances in June! 🥳🥳 (more or less 😅 or we will be by then!) I couldn’t be happier with how the show has turned out (the songs that we’ve written are, in my unbiased opinion, TOTAL BANGERS 🔥🔥) and I can’t wait to share it with the world, starting with the Mois Molière festival in June and the Avignon Theatre Festival in July. In between now and then, I have a few concerts coming up, including my first livestream concert right here in Instagram! Tune in on May 15th at 9-10 pm CEST; I will play songs, tell stories, answer question and hang out virtually! Between now and then, send me all your top song requests!

Happy Spring! I am here and alive even if I haven’t been sharing much! March has been a full and exciting month, between the release of “Love’s Not Over Yet”, two weeks of workshopping and writing music for “Cleopatra” and two songwriting retreats. I’m running on fumes… but happy and grateful. I’ll be sending out my March newsletter tonight (yes, in April—April Fool’s!
