(Swipe 👉) Let’s paint this purple sky snowscape!

This small winter sunset is one of those artworks that looks soothing right from the beginning. The combination of soft purples and orange, a snow-covered land, and the focal point of a tree can be easily made yet highly rewarding

First, create the sky with a gradient transition from violet hues on the top edge into soft pink and orange ones near the horizon. All the strokes should be soft and gentle, which plays an essential role in achieving the desired effect

Then, paint the snow. Make sure to avoid pure white - instead, use light purple for the best result

The secret is in the tree silhouette. Start by painting the background trees to stabilize the composition and later build up the focal point one step at a time with delicate upward strokes!

The painting seems to be effortless but each step contributes to its depth and realism

Would you try painting this? Or would you add more trees to the scene?

Save this for later & give it a shot ❄️

How to draw cherry blossom 🌸

This is one of those drawings that looks complex but feels surprisingly easy once you start

It begins with a light circle and a few guiding lines to map out your petals. Then shaping each petal becomes kinda rhythmic: soft curves, slight indents, nothing too perfect haha!

As the form comes together, you refine the outline and add those delicate stamens in the center that bring the flower to life

Finally, give it a light pink wash and there you have it!

If you’ve ever felt intimidated by flowers, this is a great place to start. You don’t need perfect lines - just a bit of patience & flow

Would you try this style? Which step felt the most satisfying to you?
