During my visit to Bariloche, I was pleased to see how the vision of proximity urbanism is inspiring new ways of planning cities. As highlighted in Noticias de Bariloche in the article “Carlos Moreno en Bariloche: ‘La ciudad ya no se mide en kilómetros, sino en tiempo útil’”, the development of Bariloche del Este shows how housing, services, public spaces, and nature can be brought closer together to improve daily life.
