Dans le quartier Pasteur à Paris, l’architecte d’intérieur Véronique Cotrel rénove un appartement de 51 mètres carrés destiné à devenir un pied-à-terre familial. Le projet mise sur des partis pris décoratifs affirmés, capables de traverser le temps sans lasser ses occupants.

In the Pasteur neighborhood of Paris, interior designer Véronique Cotrel is renovating a 51-square-meter apartment that will serve as a family pied-à-terre. The project features bold design choices that will stand the test of time without ever growing tiresome to its occupants.

⛱️ UNE CARTE POSTALE DE BIARRITZ avec notre série mode « Sous le signe du Rayon vert ».

L’architecture et le design entretiennent une relation singulière avec la mode. Dans Sloft Édition Biarritz, notre City guide en partenariat avec la Maison CHANEL dans le cadre du Biarritz Film Festival NOUVELLES VAGUES, nous avons imaginé une série mode. Nous l’avons voulue comme un hommage à l’un des réalisateurs les plus fameux de la Nouvelle Vague, et dont l’un des films se déroule sur la côte Basque.

« Ah ! que le temps vienne, où les coeurs s’éprennent. » Dans le film d’Éric Rohmer, Le Rayon vert (1986), Delphine arrive à Biarritz essorée par un été qui n’en finit pas de la décevoir. Seule sur la plage, elle rencontre Lena, une Suédoise décomplexée. Nous avons eu envie de réinterpréter cette sonorité complice et salvatrice.

Architecture and design share a unique relationship with fashion. In Sloft Édition Biarritz, our city guide created in partnership with CHANEL as part of the Biarritz Film Festival NOUVELLES VAGUES, we’ve created a fashion series. We intended it as a tribute to one of the most famous directors of the French New Wave, one of whose films is set on the Basque coast.

“Ah! May the time come when hearts fall in love. ” In Éric Rohmer’s film « The Green Ray » (1986), Delphine arrives in Biarritz, worn out by a summer that has done nothing but disappoint her. Alone on the beach, she meets Lena, an uninhibited Swedish woman. We wanted to reinterpret this close-knit and life-affirming sisterhood.

At the foot of the Sacré-Cœur, Hélène Le Boudec of Atelier Livhe and Inès Carré are renovating a former studio belonging to the painter Abel Bertram, perched on the top floor of a building dating from the 1880s.

L’esprit maison dans le duplex de Margot et Stan - The Homey Feel of Margot and Stan’s Duplex

La loi Carrez annonçait 52 mètres carrés ; le dernier étage, lui, avait autre chose à raconter… Accompagnés d’Elau Studio, Margot et Stan repensent ce trois-pièces des années 1930, situé à Asnières-sur-Seine, pour en révéler tout le volume. 

The Carrez Law listed the area as 52 square meters; however, the top floor told a different story… Working with Elau Studio, Margot and Stan are reimagining this three-room apartment from the 1930s, located in Asnières-sur-Seine, to reveal its full potential.

Marseille : 44 m² de passé recomposé - Marseille: 44 m² of reconstructed history

Le défi : réunir deux anciennes chambres de bonne en un appartement fonctionnel et coloré - The challenge: combining two former maids’ rooms into a functional and colorful apartment

À Marseille, deux anciennes chambres de bonne deviennent un deux-pièces ouvert sur les toits. Sous les couches de papier peint, l’architecte Simon Parrilla, en collaboration avec Loïs Huguet, retrouve le décor ancien et en fait le cœur du projet. Direction un appartement enfin révélé, à la douceur patinée.

In Marseille, two former maids’ rooms have been transformed into a two-room apartment with a view of the rooftops. Beneath layers of wallpaper, architect Simon Parrilla, in collaboration with Loïs Huguet, uncovered the original decor and made it the centerpiece of the project. The result is an apartment that has finally been revealed, with a gently weathered charm.
