Best of Rock - Yes

Formed in London in 1968, Yes became pioneers of progressive rock, blending intricate arrangements, virtuosic playing, soaring vocals, classical influences, and ambitious compositions that transformed modern rock music.

The Yes Album established their breakthrough, featuring Starship Trooper, I've Seen All Good People, and Your Move. Fragile followed with Roundabout, becoming a landmark progressive rock record worldwide.

Close to the Edge strengthened their reputation through epic compositions, while Yessongs showcased their spectacular musicianship. Tales from Topographic Oceans and Relayer continued their adventurous seventies musical progression.

Going for the One produced the popular Wonderous Stories and Parallels, while later albums maintained their distinctive sound. Frequent lineup changes nevertheless kept Yes remarkably active and innovative.

In 1983, Yes returned triumphantly with 90125, embracing polished pop-rock. Owner of a Lonely Heart became their only American number-one single, alongside hits Leave It and It Can Happen.

Yes won a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental Performance with Cinema in 1985, earned four additional nominations, and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
