Speaking to Channel 4 News, a British consultant plastic surgeon recounted what she saw while serving in Gaza's Nasser Hospital. Dr al-Hadithy noted patients shot at US- and Israeli-backed aid sites would have wounds in the same place depending on the day, suggesting "very specific targeting" by Israeli forces and American contractors. Her testimony matches that of several other surgeons who have noted a "pattern" in targeting. Al-Hadithy also described the harrowing process of seeing many of her colleagues or their families killed, calling them "heroes of this war" and condemning the UK for "not doing enough".
