Message is a diverse, supportive community of English-speaking families living in and around Paris Message has 6 areas in and around Paris.
A supportive community of English-speaking parents in and around Paris. Each area has its own team of organisers – Area Leaders, New Mother Contacts, Breast-Feeding Supporters, Playgroup Coordinators and Event Schedulers. Dozens of activities are held each month, including family events for babies, toddlers and older children, plus meetings, speaker events and outings for parents. Additionally, Message members can participate in Country and Language groups to connect with those who hail from their home country and/or speak the same native language. The original Message Newsletter has now grown into a substantial (100+ page), quarterly magazine for members, containing details of forthcoming Message meetings and activities, news on local events, plus articles written by members on pregnancy, baby and child-related issues, and life in France. Members have access to a private website containing discussion forums, the calendar of events, classified ads, and much more. Message provides a wide range of help and information services. We can help members with choosing a doctor or a place to have their baby in Paris and preparing for birth and breast or bottle-feeding. There is a confidential support line that provides help with many parenting concerns, as well as information on education options. Message also publishes the ABCs of Parenting in Paris - a practical guide for English-speaking parents living in Paris with children. This guide covers more than 100 topics on family life in the capital, ranging from childcare and education to using medical and emergency services.

What a great way to kick off another year of coffee meet ups! Met some lovely new membrés, caught up with old friends and got to try the newest café on the block! So proud of you , your café is amazing! We will be back for sure!

POV: Back to school!!!!! Tell us, in the poll how you’re feeling!
Raise your hand if you can’t believe that school is starting soon! ✋ but at least we’ll get to catch up with each other right? There’s a welcome coffee in a new coffee place we’re super excited about and our annual picnic. We’ve also updated our back to school post so check it out for some tips to help with the rentrée! Summer Sun
Great is the sun, and wide he goes
Through empty heaven without repose;
And in the blue and glowing days
More thick than rain he showers his rays.
Though closer still the blinds we pull
To keep the shady parlour cool,

To slip his golden fingers through.
The dusty attic spider-clad,
