Polycopies and MOME (Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design) organise a photobook workshop in early May, offering the opportunity to develop a project centred around the Fortepan archive.
We are looking for photographers and creators who are interested in image archives or are working on projects that include archival images.
The aim of the workshop is to create a collective publication based on the Fortepan archive. Each participant can take a personal and unique look at the archive, select images and find independent solutions for their arrangement and printing whether with a thematic or typological approach.
Each individual contribution will become a chapter in a collective work, offering diverse interpretations of the choses archive.
The workshop will be led by Lia Pradal. As an artist, publisher and graphic designer, she places the book at the centre of her practice. As part of a process of recycling images, her publications emerge from the discovery and exploration of archives or iconographic collections. The four day workshop will take place at MOME between May 5th and 8th.
Monday 5th : 4.00 pm - 6.00 pm
Tuesday 6th : 9h30 am - 3.30 pm
Wednesday 7th : 9h30 am - 3.30 pm
Thursday 8th : 9h30 am - 12.30 pm
