This issue is a testament to the continued fight in the face of provocation and fear, an acknowledgement of humanity’s limitless possibility and a hope for a better world. It is a call to look at suffering, to find those people who need a hand and to shine a light towards that darkness so that we can make it out, together.

May this issue be your benediction for beauty, community, human dignity — sometimes a little laughter — but most of all for love.

The inaugural talk revolved around how to make A Magazine; what is the relationship between designer, editor and art director and how do you transform a world into a paper publication.

Speakers included , professor and Editor-in-Chief of A Magazine Curated By Maison Martin Margiela, Yohji Yamamoto and Haider Ackermann, , creative director and founder of Meiré und Meiré, the current art director of A Magazine Curated By, as well as , current Editor-in-Chief of the publication.

The long-awaited debut of .a, curator of issue #4, at for Autumn-Winter 2025, took place last night. The show’s invitation, a single white orchid tied neatly with a leather bow, a conversation between Ackermann’s and Tom Ford’s vision of desire, echoes the designer’s curation of Robert Mapplethorpe’s photography in A Magazine Curated By #4.
