📅 One week to go before Conclave 2026 – 3rd Edition 🇪🇺

In one week, EuropaNova will once again bring together in Brussels a European community of decision-makers and opinion leaders for the third edition of the Conclave, entitled “From European Strengths to EU Power.”

At a time when international relations are increasingly shaped by power politics and profound geopolitical shifts, the Conclave seeks to foster a collective reflection on a central question: how can the European Union turn its strengths into effective power, capable of defending its interests, safeguarding its democratic model, and projecting its vision in a more competitive world.

Conclave 2026 will be launched on 15 January 2026 at the Royal Flemish Academy of Belgium in Brussels, with an opening public conference. It will be followed by a two-day closed-door seminar on 16–17 January at Bruegel’s headquarters, bringing together 50 European leaders from the political, economic, academic and media spheres, under Chatham House rules.

Discussions will be structured around three key pillars:

🔹 Democracy
🔹 Geopolitics, defence and security

They will be enriched by high-level contributions, notably from Nadia Calviño, President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), and Andrius Kubilius, European Commissioner for Defence and Space.
