Armineh Negahdari, “What Color Is Your Sky Today?” Open Space #18, Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris 2026

The Fondation Louis Vuitton presents the first solo exhibition in a French institution by Armineh Negahdari.

A graduate of the University of Tehran and the Clermont-Ferrand School of Art, she is now based in Bordeaux, where she develops a practice centered on drawing.

For Armineh Negahdari, drawing is more than a language: it is an experience, a way of living that responds to urgency and immediate necessity. She works without prior planning, within the intensity of a flow in which the hand, guided by intuition and hesitation, precedes the idea itself. The line emerges through a physical commitment that gives rise to images that are at once powerful and fragile, in search of what she describes as “a physicality as credible as a body, as powerful as a mountain.”

La Fondation Louis Vuitton présente la première exposition personnelle dans une institution française de Armineh Negahdari.

Diplômée de l’Université de Téhéran et de l’École Supérieure d’Art de Clermont-Ferrand, elle est aujourd’hui installée à Bordeaux où elle développe une pratique centrée sur le dessin.

Pour Armineh Negahdari, le dessin est plus qu’un langage : c’est une expérience, une manière de vivre qui répond à une urgence, à un besoin immédiat. Elle travaille sans planification préalable, dans l’intensité d’un flux où la main, guidée par l’intuition et l’hésitation, précède l’idée : le trait surgit, porté par un engagement physique qui fait naître des images aussi fortes que fragiles, à la recherche de ce qu’elle décrit comme « une physicalité aussi crédible qu’un corps, aussi puissante qu’une montagne ».

La Caverne du Pont-Neuf, JR, Paris 2026

On Pont Neuf, photographer JR is installing the monumental artwork La Caverne du Pont-Neuf, transforming the oldest bridge in Paris into a gigantic stone cave. This temporary installation, 120 meters long, 20 meters wide, and 18 meters high, inspired by Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s legendary 1985 wrapping of the bridge, is changing the perception of one of Paris’ most iconic symbols and is already provoking debate and strong reactions even before its opening.

Sur le Pont Neuf, le photographe JR installe l’œuvre monumentale La Caverne du Pont-Neuf, transformant le plus ancien pont de Paris en une gigantesque grotte de pierre. Cette installation éphémère, longue de 120 mètres, large de 20 mètres et haute de 18 mètres, inspirée par l’empaquetage légendaire du pont réalisé en 1985 par Christo et Jeanne-Claude, modifie la perception de l’un des symboles les plus emblématiques de Paris et suscite déjà polémique et réactions avant même son ouverture.
