I’m back to Paris after a while. Those who know me know that I’m less of a city person and more about the sea, and I like Southern France more than Paris. But you can’t beat Paris when it comes to business, especially if you’re in the world of fashion, as well as being a world class city and practically an open air museum. Even though there are significant other contenders for me now, Paris firmly retains its place in my list of three most beautiful cities in the world. And I happened to catch Paris with some amazing Spring weather this time, which was definitely a boon.

Vietnam has many spectacular regions, but the city of Nha Trang has become the first gateway to Vietnam for me. There are parts of the town that are very sleepy, while the center is always bustling with people and action. The city is surrounded by many attractions, from pristine beaches to charming islands, from a beautiful hill country to creaks and waterfalls, but many come for the fairly recently built Vinpearl resorts on Hon Tre island, which I must say, even though I’m usually not drawn to that format of vacation, I was really impressed by. And of course, it’s hard to beat the pleasant weather here, with the typical Southeast Asian humid air tempered by a constant sea breeze. The wind really does make a difference in terms of making this place a much more manageable Southeast Asian destination as far as weather is concerned. I hope to return and God willing next time also do some windsurfing too in the beautiful paradise of Vietnam. Highly recommended!

This was my first time in St. Petersburg in the Summer, and, God, is it a relief from those bone chilling winters here. Even though the sun doesn’t exactly roast you like fried chicken here, it does gently warm your bones, which is pleasant compared to the extreme heat in many other places. The city’s typical winter melancholy, which I adore by the way, gives way to busy and lively streets flooded with tourists and locals alike. Mind you, it does get a little crowded, as many folks want to get a taste of this gorgeous city’s magical atmosphere when the city is not busy trying to turn you into an ice sculpture with bone chilling winds. But don’t get me wrong, I like the city in that mode as well. I just like it in the Summer a little more 🙂 Enjoy the photos and videos of this magical city!

Although not my favorite sailing grounds in Türkiye overall, I end up sailing in Göcek once a year. It’s a combination of convenient yachting and posh venues. Those who know me know that I’m not into posh. But Göcek makes up with combining that with untouched nature, so it’s unique in its own right. End of May/early June is the ideal time to make the trip out here before folks come in hoards, along with September and October. Don’t miss!

Minsk is a special city and not just any other city I visit, since I lived here before. It’s where I learned Russian. Minsk is marked with a lot of good memories for me. As I spent these last number of days here, I visited many of the places I used to go to back when I lived here. It was nostalgic. It wasn’t like when I visit other cities I haven’t lived in. There is a lot I can share about Minsk, like how soulful the Belarusian people are, and can go on and on, but for now I’ll share this one for you.. After going all around and seeing many other cities inbetween the time I lived in Minsk and now, I can still safely say that Minsk is the cleanest city I’ve ever seen anywhere in the world 🙂 P.S. I have not been to Singapore so don’t get on my case if you are Singaporean 😀

Try to be the best version of yourself. But don’t forget the “yourself” in there. If you try to be the best version of other than yourself, it won’t be authentically you, then you’ll neither be yourself nor your best version.
