La pièce maîtresse de cet espace est un meuble chiné, associé à une cuisine discrète, moderne et légère.
Nous avons agrandi la cuisine en récupérant l'espace d'une salle d'eau installée côté cour intérieure, profitant ainsi de l'arrivée d'eau existante pour équiper cette nouvelle configuration.
Les luminaires suspendus et les détails soignés ajoutent une touche chaleureuse à ce lieu conçu pour partager.

A kitchen designed to be both elegant, functional, and welcoming. The blend of wood and marble creates the perfect balance between tradition and modernity.
The kitchen was extended by reclaiming space from a former water closet on the courtyard side, making the most of the existing plumbing to fit out this new layout.
The suspended lights and thoughtful details add a warm touch to this space, created for sharing.

• Projet Boury • HALL D'ENTRÉE
Nous avons redonné à l'entrée sa vraie fonction. Historiquement, les anciens propriétaires passaient par la cuisine ; ici, nous l'avons redimensionnée et repensée pour qu'elle desserve les pièces de plain-pied. Nous y avons créé un WC au rez-de-chaussée et une suite invité accessible de plain-pied.
Des moulures ont été ajoutées, dans l'esprit des maisons de famille, pour donner du caractère au lieu. Une entrée à la fois fonctionnelle et chaleureuse, où le mobilier chiné apporte sa note d'authenticité.

We gave the entrance back its true purpose. In the past, the previous owners came in through the kitchen; here, we resized it and rethought it so it now leads to the ground-floor rooms. We created a toilet on the ground floor and a guest suite, all on one level.
We added mouldings, in the spirit of family homes, to bring character to the space. An entrance that is both practical and warm, where vintage furniture adds its own touch of authenticity.

Cette pièce était autrefois la salle à manger. Dans les maisons du Vexin, les espaces se sont souvent ajoutés au fil du temps. Nous y avons créé la cuisine, avec une vue traversante sur la cour et le jardin pour gagner en lumière. Le cœur de la maison, là où la famille se retrouve.
Parti pris épuré, sans meubles hauts, pour laisser place à la décoration : un tableau, quelques beaux objets. Au centre un îlot construit autour d'un meuble chiné par les clients, comme une pièce maîtresse.

Dans une démarche responsable, une partie de l'électroménager existant a été conservée et réintégrée au projet afin de valoriser au maximum l'existant de cette maison secondaire. Un placard intégré a lui aussi été déplacé et réutilisé, offrant une seconde vie à des éléments déjà présents tout en préservant l'harmonie de l'espace.

• Boury project • KITCHEN BEFORE/AFTERWARDS
This room used to be the dining room. In the houses of the Vexin, spaces were often added little by little over the years. We turned it into the kitchen, with a view running through to the courtyard and the garden to bring in more light. The heart of the house, where the family comes together.
A clean, simple approach, with no wall units, to leave room for decoration: a painting, a few beautiful objects. At the centre, an island built around a piece the clients found themselves, like a centrepiece.
We also kept things responsible: much of the existing appliances were saved and brought back into the project, to make the most of what this second home already had. A built-in cupboard was moved and reused as well, giving a second life to what was already there while keeping the harmony of the space.

• Projet Boury • SALLE DE BAIN
Dans cette salle de bain, nous avons fait le choix de garder les tommettes d'origine et de les marier à des surfaces plus épurées. Le béton ciré habille les volumes courbes, là où sa souplesse fait merveille pour épouser les formes organiques. Sur toutes les parties droites, nous avons posé un grès cérame dans la même teinte, avec des micro-joints ton sur ton, presque invisibles.
Ce dialogue entre une matière coulée et une matière posée, dans une nuance identique, fait toute la différence : l'œil ne s'arrête nulle part. Les rangements ont été pensés pour les usages d'une maison secondaire, où l'on pose ses affaires de vacances le temps d'un séjour.
Meuble vasque épuré, robinetterie discrète, matériaux naturels. Rien de superflu, juste ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien.

• Boury project • BATHROOM
In this bathroom, we chose to keep the original terracotta tiles and pair them with cleaner surfaces. Polished concrete covers the curved areas, where its softness works beautifully to follow organic shapes. On all the straight parts, we laid a porcelain stoneware in the same tone, with thin tone-on-tone joints that are almost invisible.
This play between a poured material and a laid one, in the very same shade, makes all the difference: the eye never stops anywhere. The storage was designed for the way a second home is used, where you set down your holiday things for the length of a stay.
A simple vanity unit, understated taps, natural materials. Nothing unnecessary, just enough to feel good.

L'entrée de la chambre d'invité dit beaucoup de l'esprit de la maison : des moulures qui prolongent l'atmosphère de maison de famille, une porte ancienne chinée qui apporte son caractère.
Pensée pour le confort des invités, la suite s'ouvre de plain-pied au rez-de-chaussée, facile d'accès. Un espace à eux, à la fois raffiné et accueillant.

The entrance to the guest room says a lot about the spirit of the house: mouldings that carry on the family-home feel, and an old door, found by chance, that brings its own character.
Made with guests in mind, the suite opens on the ground floor, level and easy to reach. A space of their own, both refined and welcoming.

• Projet Boury • CHAMBRE PARENTALE
Cette chambre était une pièce palière, ouverte sur le couloir et sans véritable fonction. Nous l'avons refermée côté palier pour en faire une chambre d'appoint, tout en gardant la lumière de la jolie lucarne.
Le parquet a été repris en raccord à l'emplacement de l'ancien placard, et les murs habillés d'un vert doux. Le client avait chiné deux belles portes anciennes haussmanniennes, toute hauteur, que nous avons décapées à l'aérogommage puis vernies en finition mate, pour retrouver le grain du bois sans le figer.
Chaque détail a été pensé pour le confort et la lumière du jour, dans une atmosphère calme où les grands enfants peuvent se poser.

• Boury project • MASTER BEDROOM
This bedroom used to be a landing room, open onto the hallway and with no real purpose. We closed it off on the landing side to make a guest room, while keeping the light from the pretty dormer window.
We patched the parquet where the old closet stood, and painted the walls a soft green. The client had found two beautiful old Haussmann doors, full height, which we stripped by sandblasting and finished with a matte varnish, bringing back the grain of the wood without hiding its character.
Every detail was chosen for comfort and natural light, in a calm space where older children can settle in. A simple, restful room that just feels right.

Dans cette salle d’eau, nous avons voulu créer un contraste entre un décor très présent et des lignes plus simples.
Le papier peint floral a été posé sur les murs comme au plafond afin de rendre l’espace plus enveloppant et presque théâtral, malgré sa petite taille.
Pour équilibrer l’ensemble, le choix s’est porté sur un lavabo aux lignes épurées et une robinetterie en laiton brossé, plus discrète.
L’idée n’était pas d’ajouter davantage d’éléments décoratifs, mais plutôt de laisser les matières, les motifs et la lumière suffire à donner du caractère à la pièce.

In this bathroom, the intention was to create a contrast between a bold decorative backdrop and simpler, more restrained lines.
The floral wallpaper was applied across both the walls and ceiling to make the space feel more immersive and almost theatrical despite its small size.
To balance the richness of the pattern, the sink was kept intentionally minimal, paired with brushed brass fixtures and soft lighting.
Rather than adding more decorative elements, the project focused on letting the materials, textures and light bring character to the room.

Ici, le détail repose surtout sur la matière et les courbes.
Réalisées en béton ciré, les niches ont été dessinées pour s’intégrer naturellement à l’espace et éviter tout effet trop décoratif.
Une intervention simple, pensée pour apporter davantage de douceur et de fluidité à cette salle d’eau.

Here, the focus is mainly on materiality and curves.
Made in polished concrete, the niches were designed to blend naturally into the space and avoid an overly decorative effect.
A simple intervention intended to bring more softness and fluidity to the bathroom.

• Projet Boury • SUITE INVITÉS AVANT/APRÈS
Ancienne cuisine de la maison, cette pièce a été transformée en suite invités indépendante.
Le projet cherchait surtout à conserver l’atmosphère déjà présente à travers les poutres apparentes, les sols en tomette ancienne et en ajoutant la porte sculptée chinée par le propriétaire, plutôt qu’à tout redessiner.
L’intervention reste volontairement légère afin de créer un espace plus confortable pour recevoir, sans perdre le caractère du lieu.

• Boury project • GUEST SUITE BEFORE/AFTERWARDS
Originally the kitchen of the house, this space was transformed into an independent guest suite.
Instead of redesigning everything from scratch, the project focused on keeping the atmosphere that already existed through the exposed beams, old terracotta floors and the sculpted wooden door sourced by the owner.
The intervention was intentionally light, with the idea of creating a quieter and more comfortable space to receive guests without losing the rustic character of the house.
