Our Story

SAX MACHINE : saxophone sales and repair shop was started by Marianne D'Ursin in 1978. The shop at the current location, 46 rue de la Rochefoucauld 75009 Paris France has been open in 1990. Sax Machine has become Paris's own «House of Saxophone» offering new and used instrument sales, rental, repairs, advice and accessories.

We carry a wide variety of new and second hand instruments and work closely with the following companies: Selmer, Yanagisawa and Yamaha of our inventory of new instruments has been selected by professional musicians and checked by our sax technicians. This is one of the many things that make us a step above the competition.

Some of the vintage models we carry at our shop are: Selmer Mark VI, Selmer Balanced Action, Conn, King, Martin, Beuscher, Buffet Crampon, etc...

You will also find a large selection of reeds, mouth pieces and other acccessories such as neck straps, harnesses, cases and ligatures etc.

We also offer a brokerage service for used instrument, mouthpieces and necks. All the used and vintage instruments available have been serviced by our skilled and experienced technicians. All of our repairs are guaranteed for one year. Sax Machine is a friendly place where one can meet other saxophonists and chat or ask our staff's opinions on technical matters as well as try out a diversity of new and vintage horns as well as mouthpieces.
