Nail polish makes history ...

Nail polish is outselling lipstick for the first time, according to statistics presented by retail analyst, Mintel. It is well reported that in times of economic downturn, women turn to lipstick as a affordable pick me up, but the research shows a change in consumer favour, and the rise of the nail polish. The research conducted by Mintel revealed that UK women now spend on average € 525 a year on their nails, with over 70% of British women affirming they bought at least one nail varnish last year.
