It was nice to reconnect with our valued CAP Partner, Hanne Kvalheim and Katerina Vicen, to reflect on the success of the Global Podiatry Summit 2026 in Copenhagen — and to turn our focus forward.

Dublin 2028 is on the horizon. 🌍🤩

We are working to confirm dates soon, and we couldn’t be more excited to build on what we achieved together in Copenhagen — and make the next Global Podiatry Summit even bigger, even bolder, and even more impactful.

This week, our Secretary General Lea Stentoft Berling and Immediate Past President Daniel Aharon Weisz are at EWMA • European Wound Management Association 2026 in Bremen — a vital arena for podiatry’s role in wound management.

Being present here isn’t just about visibility. It’s about reinforcing why podiatry belongs at the table when the global wound care agenda is being shaped. 🦶🏼👩🏼‍⚕️

A new chapter of leadership begins 💫

At the Annual General Meeting in Copenhagen, we are proud to welcome Pauline Wilson as our new President, and Lee C. Rogers as President-Elect — both familiar faces stepping into new roles, bringing with them years of commited leadership to FIP and the global podiatry community.

We are equally pleased that Brendan Bennett continues as Treasurer and Lea Stentoft Berling continues as Secretary General — their experience and dedication gives a strong foundation for the work ahead.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to Daniel Aharon Weisz, who steps into the role of Immediate Past President — a reflection of his continued dedication to FIP and the profession.

After an extraordinary Global Podiatry Summit 2026 in Copenhagen, the next chapter begins with momentum behind it.
