Completely forgot to post day 27 to 36 (the final days 😭) of the trip, but here we are. Bordeaux part 2 - Paris - Calais.
Slight detour took us back to bordeaux for one day... it turned into 7 (we would have liked to take responsibility for this. But I think it's best to blame the locals 👀)
But we did manage to make to Paris for a proper touristy day, and even a Zacian raid hour.
Then it was up to Calais because I had a wedding to get to.
Good bye France. See you again soon 💙🤍❤️

(A little late, but better late than Never) Days 18 to 26 - Agen - Toulouse.
After what was supposed to an early night turned into a few to many drinks and ordering in McDonald's at 5am (FUKAYOU GABI!), the first day cycling was rough. But, thankfully it was mostly cycle path down the canal. We also got very lucky when we found a farm that doubled as a camp site. And they accepted us setting up the tent well past final check in. The next day we made it all the way to Agen before deciding that it was to god damn hot, and to get a train to Toulouse.
Once again, what was supposed to be 3 days turned into 7. We got to see the beautiful, if always slightly grumpy, Luna again. And the legendary Nux. Had the pleasure of meeting some really cool people and catching up with others I hadn't seen in years.
We also went to the most amazing club. Who knows how they were allowed to put a pool in a nightclub, but TAKE ME BACK TO LE PETIT BIKINI 😭 We ended staying for a great birthday party, and discovering how goated Yatzee is. Then came the 41 degree heatwave, and with that, a change to the upcoming plans "but that's a story for another day"

Day 14 to Day 17 - La Rochelle - Bordeaux and Saint Emillion. Some of the most chaotic days so far. We tried to skip La Rochelle, and the world wasn't having it, so ended up there for less than 24 hours. It is one of the most magical places in the world (even if it left me with a severe sun burn 😅). Then we made it to bordeaux, which has been amazing. Met some absolutely outstanding people, had a few nights with a few drinks and spent an afternoon in Saint Emillion. Now, forwards to Toulouse!

Day 11 to Day 13 - Rennes to Nantes (with a detour through Castle Brian). The cycle to Nantes was nice, if a bit bumpy. But at this point we had seen enough farms for a lifetime 😂 Once in Nantes, we went full tourist for the first time. Had some of the best gallettes and explored the sights (got some serious Anor Londo/Cathedral of the deep vibes). We also encountered our first enemy of the trip, but thats a story for another day.

Day 6 to Day 10 - Pontivy to Rennes. The cycle to Rennes was beautiful. 100km of easy going cycle path with some gorgeous views. Then we arrived in Rennes for what was supposed to be 1 rest day. Instead of leaving on Thursday, we left on Sunday 😅 I think that pretty much sais it all. Now, after wonderful long rest, we head south. (The hot ones hot sauce tasters were good, but there is no good reason to ever eat "Da bomb" 😭)

Day 4 & 5. Rest days in Pontivy. What else is there to say? It's good to be home 😌
(The last photo is the most in tune I've ever been with myself while shopping.)

Day 3: Daoulas - Malguenac. This was probably one of the toughest challenges we've ever been through. Not only did the route take us through mountains and hiking paths. But we ended up getting caught in the rain for the last 6 hours. But, we saw some beautiful sights, pushed beyond our limits and even made it to a house party that ended in the early hours of the morning. Now, time for a few days rest 😌

Day 2. Plymouth - Roscoff - Daoulas. Mostly beautiful ride from Roscoff, just the start and the end where the hills were out in force. But saw some beautiful sights. Went to a great creperie. and finished the day with a BBQ, some chess and a bit of Mario Kart :)

Day 1 Abingdon to Plymouth. The adventure begins... What on earth are we doing? No turning back now. already met some cool people! Oh! and we got a whole cinema to ourselves. Now, can we make it to Germany?
