motherâs day used to be one of my favourite days
Iâd be so excited to wake up and not let my mom get out of bed because my brother and I were making her breakfast in bed.
We always wanted to make the day extra special and show her a little more love than usual. Even though moms really deserve that kind of love every single day
Sadly, for the last 9 years, I havenât had the chance to do any of that
Almost a whole decade of missing her, wishing I could call her, hear her laugh, hug her, and make her breakfast in bed just one more time
You learn to live with it, but you never stop wanting just one more day with them
