We’re keeping our drinking water safe. 💧
From today, EU countries must monitor PFAS levels in drinking water!
PFAS are long-lasting chemicals that can be harmful to health, if levels are too high.
If that happens, authorities must act - by cleaning the water, closing polluted wells or warning people - until the water is safe again.
Because everyone deserves access to safe drinking water.

A basic research would have avoided these unnecessary situations
Hundreds of Indian students enrolled at Germany’s private IU International University say their studies have turned into a nightmare after immigration authorities began rejecting or withdrawing their visas, citing concerns that the programmes do not qualify as full-time, in-person study.
Many students have invested tens of thousands of euros and now face deportation or being forced to complete their degrees remotely, despite being promised on-campus education in Germany. The university says the problem stems from a sudden change in visa policy by Berlin’s immigration office and insists it has the necessary accreditation, while courts have issued a controversial ruling tightening attendance requirements.
As uncertainty continues, students report severe financial and psychological distress, with IU now suspending new international admissions to its Berlin campus.
