Samedi soir, je me suis rendu, comme chaque année, à la Mission francophone de la Résurrection à Paris. Un magnifique office et un excellent sermon de mon collègue, le révérend Dumond Chavanne, vicaire de la mission, ont été agrémentés par la musique du groupe « Gospel Dream ». Une réception au champagne a été suivie d’un délicieux dîner dans la salle paroissiale. Merci, mes chers amis, pour cette merveilleuse (et chaleureuse) rencontre !

A day of amazing preaching experiences in Cambridge thanks to friends and colleagues—first, a morning sermon from Hugh Latimer’s pulpit at the church of St Edward King and Martyr, hosted by gracious colleagues Dr Mark Scarlatti and Dr Matthias Grebe; and then an evensong sermon preached in Christopher Wren’s glorious chapel at — hosted by the wonderful Dean, The Rev’d Jeremy Caddick, and my old colleague The Rev’d Greg Stark — from a lectern dedicated in memory of a dear friend and mentor.
