Strengthening our footprint in Portugal.
Sonepar has entered into an agreement to acquire LCI Group in Portugal, an electrical material distributor with national presence in Portugal through the three companies Tanqueluz, Futurluz- Distribuição de Material Elétrico and Vedrel.
By acquiring these companies, recognized for their excellent market knowledge and strong customer relationships, Sonepar will improve its ability to deliver integrated solutions, combining local agility and specialization with the scale, innovation, and financial strength of a global leader.
In turn, customers will benefit from access to a broader portfolio of products and solutions, and from improved stock availability and logistics efficiency, while maintaining continuity in their commercial relationships and close support from existing teams.

Supporting environmental protection in Peru with Planète Urgence 🌳
Today is World Biological Diversity Day, an opportunity to highlight how Sonepar turns its sustainability commitment into concrete actions to protect ecosystems and preserve natural resources worldwide. 🌍
Since 2023, an internal tool enables us to assess the carbon emissions of our corporate events and convert them into concrete support for NGOs.
As part of this initiative, Sonepar supports the French NGO Planète Urgence and their CUISCAF project, which aims to promote sustainable coffee cultivation under native tree cover to protect forests and biodiversity in Peru.
