This summer, we're taking a look back at some of the most iconic retail experiences we've featured since Retailoscope began.

in 2023, SKIMS transformed Rockefeller Center into a summer-inspired pop-up, creating an immersive retail destination centered around the brand's latest seasonal collection.

Inspired by swimming pools, water and the curves of the human body, the activation featured a striking baby-blue structure that integrated seamlessly with Rockefeller Center's iconic fountains and architecture.

This summer, we're taking a look back at some of the most iconic retail experiences we've featured since Retailoscope began.

Marc Jacobs transformed the streets of Manhattan with a giant inflatable version of The Tote Bag in 2023, turning one of the brand's most recognizable accessories into a large-scale urban installation.

Created in collaboration with PLAYLAB, Inc. and featuring artwork by New York artist Shawn Crawford, the oversized lavender tote was displayed for two days on Ludlow Street following New York Fashion Week. The activation generated significant attention both on-site and across social media

RETAILOSCOPE ARCHIVES: OCTOBER 2023

This summer, we're taking a look back at some of the most iconic retail experiences we've featured since Retailoscope began.

Jacquemus transformed Seoul with Café Fleurs, an immersive pop-up inspired by one of the Maison's most recognizable accessories, the Le Bambimou handbag.

Located in Seongsu-dong, the concept featured a café, flower shop and curated retail space housed inside a building whose façade faithfully recreated the iconic bag. Visitors could enjoy signature drinks, purchase white Lisianthus bouquets and discover pieces from the Le Chouchou Fall 2023 collection, creating a seamless blend of fashion, hospitality and lifestyle.

RETAILOSCOPE ARCHIVES: OCTOBER 2022

This summer, we're taking a look back at some of the most iconic retail experiences we've featured since Retailoscope began.

In October 2022, Balenciaga transformed its Mount Street boutique in London with a bold temporary takeover to celebrate the launch of its Le Cagole collection.

For the activation, the Maison completely reimagined the store, replacing its permanent fixtures with bright pink faux fur-covered displays and removing its usual ready-to-wear and accessories to create a fully immersive environment dedicated to the collection.

This summer, we're taking a look back at some of the most iconic retail experiences we've featured since Retailoscope began.

Bottega Veneta transformed, in October 2022, Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li in Chengdu with a striking inflatable pop-up wrapped entirely in the Maison's signature Parakeet Green.

Designed as a bold architectural interpretation of Bottega Veneta's iconic padded aesthetic, the temporary pavilion invited visitors to discover the latest ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and accessories within a fully immersive monochromatic environment.

L'Oréal Paris transformed Binjiang, Hangzhou with Perfect White Cinema, an immersive pop-up designed around one of the brand's iconic skincare products.

Shaped like an oversized product tube, the installation invited visitors into a playful brand universe combining experiential design, product discovery and interactive photo opportunities.

Blending retail with personalized skincare services, the activation featured dedicated product discovery and consultation areas within an environment designed to evoke freshness and wellbeing.

Chanel unveiled the Red Camellia pop-up in Shenzhen, celebrating one of the Maison's most iconic symbols through an immersive beauty experience.

Inspired by the red camellia—the signature ingredient at the heart of Chanel's N°1 de Chanel skincare line—the activation combined experiential design, interactive product discovery and personalized beauty services within a striking monochromatic environment.

RETAILOSCOPE ARCHIVES: MARCH 2023

This summer, we're taking a look back at some of the most iconic retail experiences we've featured since Retailoscope began.

Burberry unveiled The Imagined Landscapes on Jeju Island, creating a striking mirrored pop-up inspired by the contours of Hallasan Mountain and the island's natural landscape.

Designed as a sculptural architectural installation, the temporary space featured a reflective façade that blended seamlessly into its surroundings, while immersive digital artworks by international artists transformed the interior into a series of interactive environments. The experience was complemented by Thomas's Café, offering locally inspired food and beverages, and an observation terrace overlooking the mountains, bringing together fashion, art, technology and nature.
