Sunset season is back. And what is better than to start it with new monumental artwork on Le Pont Neuf ? Let’s kick of the JRHenge. And listen to this: this picture is taken from the Pont au Change. There will be a « JRHenge » meaning the sun will set in the exact axis Pont au change / Pont Neuf. And hear the best part. This is going to happen on the day of the August 2026 solar eclipse : August 12th. See the last picture.
Crazy isn’t it? I won’t be in Paris. But I will want to see your pictures of this place with the extraordinary eclipse sunset.

On this picture of the starry sky of Bonneval sur Arc you can see the almost full Moon and Jupiter in the Gemini constellation with Castor and Pollux. You see them better on the second pic without the Moon. (Jupiter is the brightest). Picture taken on 1/1/2026.
