Some staff members of our organization attended a workshop, facilitated by Alexandra Bostan, concerning body awareness, interpersonal connection, use of the space, improvisation, theatre and movement.
We slowed down, controlled our thoughts, came to ourselves, understood each other better and had a looooot of fun 😃🥳
Important lessons for our everyday personal and professional life in the youth work sector.
The room in Sporthal Den Willecom was provided to us by Lokaal bestuur Edegem.

🍁AUTUMN CLEANUP AND CONNECTION🍁
📍 Edegem, Belgium 🇧🇪

With some of our members and friends/colleagues from other associations, we walked around the area of Fort V and Kerkplein and cleaned up trash, filling 4 bags. We also received assistance from the youth organization KSA Parsival, thank you for this!
Nature will be very grateful for our effort, we keep giving the good example 🪹🌲🐿️
The materials were provided to us by Mooimakers and the bags will be picked up by Lokaal bestuur Edegem.
We finished with an activity in the garden about connection, intention setting and caring 🍂

Some of our members attended with pleasure this event of our National Agency in Brussels. We had the opportunity to network, meet new people (but also catch up with known faces), exchange ideas about social work and youth work and learn from good practices of other organizations. Thank you JINT vzw for hosting this! 😀

Our Erasmus+ projects 🇪🇺 have been submitted in Belgium 🇧🇪 and France 🇫🇷
Fingers crossed that they get approved!
We will know by the end of the year hopefully 🙏

📢VOICE OF YOUTH📢

Young people from all over Belgium (and even from abroad!) came to our place, for contributing in the writing of an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange that we are going to submit now. Through non-formal activities and methods of 'World café', brainstorming and co-creation of ideas, they expressed their opinions on youth participation in society, democracy and EU-values. They eliminated, kept or adapted certain proposed activities for this Youth Exchange, so that their needs are reflected, keeping it light and fun, but also serious and impactful at the same time. 🇪🇺🗳📝📰
Afterwards, they used the natural environment of the garden to relax and come to their bodies, with mediatation, and they got inspired by their surroundings and their insights, in order to create vision boards for the rest of 2025, now that the summer is coming to an end. There was a good cooperation and the results were meaningful to all of us. 🌳🌻🍐🎨🚪🖼

🥮CULTURAL AND ERASMUS+ DISSEMINATION DAY🥮

We had a meeting with members of our organization and new people from the area. We first served some Belgian specialities and then provided the space for dissemination. One of our members, who had recently been to the Erasmus+ Training Course 'Disconnect to Connect' in Hungary, organized by ReCreativity, gave us a presentation and impressions of the project and conducted the Ikigai activity, which he had learned there. The rest of us were 'participants' in this and came to interesting conclusions about ourselves, our skills, our goals in life and our ideal job, which we shared with the group. The smiley lamp is always there to remind us that, whatever bad is happening out there, it's important to trust ourselves, to keep loyal to our values and to be connected to each other.🙂
