eBay now uses artificial intelligence on its iOS and Android application to help you find similar products in its catalog. The e-commerce giant has introduced a "look like this" button, which is displayed under the product and allows you to trigger this new feature by simply pressing your smartphone. The process developed by eBay is based on computer vision, a branch of artificial intelligence that teaches a machine to authenticate and understand images. No more bracelets and other electronic watches. Researchers at the University of Tokyo are working on an electronic skin that can display information about the health of its user.
Called "e-skin", the prototype is capable of detecting and measuring classic vital signs, such as heart rate. The measured data are displayed on the skin in real time thanks to electrodes.

FINANCIAL SERVICES : Nymi, the authentication bracelet based on heart rate that allows for instant payment ⚡
Bionym, a Canadian startup, has just opened pre-orders for a biometric bracelet that uses heartbeat as an identifier. Called Nymi, it replaces passwords to unlock access to terminals and online services, but can also be used to pay for or control sign language interfaces. Nymi includes an electrocardiogram sensor, a microcontroller, a Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy module, an accelerometer and a gyroscope. An electrode placed in contact with the wrist and another placed in the closing loop are used to capture the heart rate.
