Sowing rye

Sowing rye, or cultivated rye, is an annual or biennial herbaceous plant, a species of the genus Rye of the bluegrass family.

Common rye is a cultivated plant grown mainly in the Northern Hemisphere. There are winter and spring forms of rye.
