- "The Taraxacum" pendant lamp designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni by -1960s.
🗞️- good to know:
this lamp was made from a metal frame, coated using a technique called cocooning: a sprayed mix of resin and plastic that forms a light, translucent membrane. The method originally came from the U.S. military, where it was used for protective coatings. Designers took inspiration from it to create a super soft, warm, cocoon-like glow.
