๐ดAt the 3๐ณ๐ฅ ๐๐ฏ๐ช๐ต๐ฆ๐ฅ ๐๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด ๐๐ค๐ฆ๐ข๐ฏ ๐๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ง๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ค๐ฆ (๐๐ช๐ค๐ฆ, ๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฆ 2025), a new initiative was launched to mobilize innovative financial pathways for biodiversity conservation and environmental sustainability in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) across Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
๐ SIDS are not just stunning destinations โ they provide essential ecosystem services: protecting coastlines, storing carbon, filtering freshwater, and supporting livelihoods. But climate change is placing these ecosystems under serious threat.
๐กThe initiative is backed by the EU-funded Support Programme for SIDS (SPS) and three regional partners:
