The Best of Spain and Portugal group concentrate on Chef Lorenzo’s Paella cooking demonstration tonight in Valencia.

The Girls were in town. Not always easy to catch up when the travel season is upon us by chance we were all in Cascais, Portugal.

Best of Spain & Portugal my first twins to join me on tour - Hah and Yan from Singapore.

So happy to catch up with the lovely Cathy Tees who is tour through her old stamping ground with her mother. Cathy has not changed one bit. For old times sake we had to pop into the Red Garter (Florence) luckily Franco was in.

What a great group of people to travel with. Colleagues from both Insight Vacations and Trafalgar Tours. We were on the Post meeting trip to Cappadocia in Turkey. So much experience on our coach with people more than willing to give advice as well as learn from the young ones. A great itinerary. Next time we will get to see the balloons.

After a great beginning of season meeting in Istanbul I was excited to see that I could add an extension to my trip to Istanbul. It’s been a dream of mine to visit Cappadocia also in Turkey. If you do visit Istanbul take the time to visit the Cistern, see my pictures.

Next stop is Cappadocia a semi-arid region in central Turkey. On the way to Cappadocia the landscape with the rock formations are amazing.

Hoping I will get to see and take that iconic picture of the hot air balloons. Fingers crossed.
