Liquid Horizon was born from the idea of one of my listeners, who suggested making a ‘SEGA album’ using samples from Jet Set Radio on the Dreamcast. The concept kept evolving, and I eventually ended up producing an EP inspired by the current Y2K Jungle wave, while incorporating samples taken from PS2, Dreamcast, and Super Nintendo sounds. Yet another nostalgic project rooted in the past — but in the end, that’s exactly why I make music.

About "Sleep Train":
With my little sister, when we’re about to go to bed, we say: ‘all aboard the sleep train.’ My sleep train is often a recurring journey for me — a quest through landscapes both unknown and strangely familiar: a lost forest where a cursed village is inhabited by peasants struck by misfortune, a river where I canoe on poisoned waters, a mountain whose endless path eventually leads me to the gates of another world — the very moment I wake up. I drew inspiration from excerpts of the soundtrack of the 1993 game MYST to compose this EP, as its universe and my dreams are not so far apart.

Originally conceived as a hardcore techno record inspired by the music of Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance, the project quickly evolved into something more expansive.

While a few samples from the game remain (you can hear them in tracks 2, 3, and 5), the turning point came with the discovery of the “navigation room” theme - a space where destinations are chosen and journeys begin. That concept became the heart of the album: six tracks, six destinations.

Navigation Room invites listeners on a journey through six unique dimensions, channeling AWITW’s passion for techno and the rave culture of the late 20th century.
