After reading through all the comments, one thing is clear: Sierra Leone still has a long way to go in understanding healthy boundaries between adults and children.
This is not about culture, Western influence, or how anyone was raised. It is simply about protecting minors. A child cannot consent, and certain actions are never appropriate, no matter who the adult is. If we truly love our children, we must create a society where their safety is non-negotiable.

The comments have also shown me how deeply normalized some dangerous behaviours have become in our society. When people defend actions that clearly cross a line with a baby, it explains why so many abuse cases end up in silence. This is not 'love', this is a failure to protect the most vulnerable.
Sierra Leone, we must do better. Our children deserve safety, dignity, and boundaries.

Let this be a reminder that child protection is everyone's responsibility, and silence only empowers the wrong things.
