Indie, dance-rock, electronica, post-punk This is DeStijl official page. DeStijl is an indie dance-rock band based in Montpellier, France.

They released 6 albums, in two phases : the 1st one set between 1996-1999 and the second one after a 10 years break from 2010 to present. The band is now split between Montpellier an Manchester where the new lead singer and drummer live. DeStijl's music is influenced by bands such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, Editors, Primal Scream, Doves, Kasabian or Massive Attack. Avec Pascal DeStijl : synthétiseurs/programmations/chant, Pat Roberts : guitares, Scott Jeffreys : chant et Jason Coverdale : batterie

DeStijl fête en 2025 ses trente ans d’existence avec un nouvel album, le 10e, malgré une pause de dix ans ce qui donne un rythme d’un nouvel album tous les deux ans ! Basé pour moitié à Manchester, ils y ont joué de nombreuses fois et y ont enregistré cinq albums, avec des pointures telles que Peter Hook (Joy Division/New Order), Danny Saber (Rolling Stones, Bowie, Madonna…), Jim Spencer (Charlatans…) ou Howie B. Inlassables explorateurs de nouveaux horizons musicaux : Rock bien sûr, mais aussi Folk, Electro, Dance-Rock et même musique Classique, Ils ont toujours gardé cet esprit Electro-pop qui est leur marque de fabrique.
