To cover the shoulders has always been an act of grace a gesture of respect and presence in Setswana and many African traditions.
Women once draped shawls or blankets across their shoulders in ceremony and counsel, a visual language of dignity and authority.
In the Cape Blazer Dress, Botocy reinterprets that gesture, blending the ceremonial with the contemporary.
The cape moves like memory, the structure speaks like conviction.
It is her voice made visible, measured, powerful, beautifully composed.

Freedom, reimagined in form.
The Jumpsuit marks a new chapter , a woman in motion, bridging continents, dreams, and generations.
Crafted with a touch of wax print, a fabric that, like leteisi, carries a story of cultural migration, once introduced through trade, then claimed, transformed, and made our own.
Both textiles became Pan-African symbols , of resilience, creativity, and the power to redefine what was once imposed into something deeply ours.
Minimal yet commanding, this look mirrors the rhythm of modern life while keeping the heartbeat of heritage.
She carries her culture not as weight, but as rhythm, fluid, fearless, and endlessly moving forward.

The Awakening
From sacred covering to spirited expression, this is her awakening.
A moment where restraint gives way to rhythm, and reverence meets rebellion.
The exaggerated hip pays homage to forms once exalted across cultures from African fertility silhouettes to 18th-century corseted gowns, eternal emblems of beauty, power, and abundance.
Yet in denim and leteisi, she rewrites their meaning, no longer adorned for gaze, but for self.
The pants once a garment of defiance, speak of liberation, of crossing thresholds once guarded.
They carry the bold, boisterous ambiguity of womanhood itself: both softness and fire, tradition and transformation.
She is still rooted, but now she moves, laughing, daring, creating.
Uncontained. Unapologetic. Becoming.
