Design Modelling Symposium Switzerland 2026 The Design Modelling Symposium is moving to Switzerland, to EPFL Fribourg & Lausanne, for its 10th edition in 2026.
Conference dates are 10 September (Lausanne: Hackathon), 11 - 12 September (Fribourg). The process of designing — and what it means to design — is undergoing profound change. The Design Modelling Symposium is heading to Switzerland!

We'll explore the evolving relationship between humans and intelligent machines in architecture and structural engineering – from materials to ethics.
