The year begins with movement and provocation!
Omar Rajeh joins the ISPA (International Society for the Performing Arts) Congress in New York as a speaker on Thursday, January 15, sharing reflections on nurturing international partnerships, sustaining creative exchange, and cultivating the courage to keep creating and collaborating in an unpredictable world.
This year’s congress theme, Resilience: A Global Dialogue, speaks to the realities of working across borders amid economic volatility, geopolitical conflict, and growing isolation.

We wrapped up the year with our final Beytna performances at Teatro della Tosse in Genova. Grateful for the warm audience, the generous theatre team, and the vibrant energy of the city.
Between rehearsals and performances, our time there also crossed paths with a powerful march against injustice, violence, and apartheid. A strong reminder, as the year ends, of what continues to guide us: human values, peace, and generosity.

New Creation (2026): Omar Rajeh with the Ballet de l’Opéra de Tunis and Les Épopées
Accompanied by dancers Elise Bruyère and Nunzio Perricone, Omar Rajeh is in Tunis where the creation unfolds. Dido & Aeneas emerges as a journey across time, where every port, train station, and road becomes a space of transition.
Between past and present, between continents and cultures.

Back at Mercat de les Flors, Barcelona with Dance is not for Us
After performing Beytna at Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona, we are thrilled to return to Mercat with Dance is not for Us, presented within Hacer Historia(s) VI festival
This sixth edition of the festival brings together artists who challenge dominant narratives and explore the political and poetic dimensions of dance. It celebrates bodies that resist disappearance and affirm their presence through movement, memory, and imagination.
In this context, Omar Rajeh’s solo stands as a powerful reflection on the body’s right to exist, to move, and to reclaim its space beyond power and hierarchy. His work echoes the festival’s spirit; questioning, daring, and deeply human.
