Nearly a hundred years ago, a tale of love, betrayal, and murder gripped our Parish so tightly that it became legend. What began as a forbidden romance spiraled into treachery, violence, and a courtroom drama that etched itself into our collective memory.

For decades, people whispered of Ada LeBoeuf and Dr. Tom Dreher, their story passed down like folklore from the shoreline of Lake Palourde to the banks of the Bayou Teche, told with equal parts fascination and warning. It was more than scandal, it was a crime that split families, filled headlines, and left a shadow for generations.

The story was captured in the book Ada and the Doc… and now, nearly a century later, it lives again on screen. This Saturday, September 20th, at 7:00 PM, the public is invited to a special film screening — held across the street from where justice was once served. $10 at the box office; concessions and merch sold.

To witness this story unfold where history itself was written is more than a screening… it’s a homecoming of a legend that has lingered in our Parish for nearly a century. Nous sommes allés au Super Marché de Trévarn organisé par la brasserie Merlin-Mignonne pour faire du repérage pour notre concert du 22 août.
Nous avons rencontré une charmante personne de Epis en Folie à qui nous avons acheté de belles pâtes traditionnelles et locales !
Nous avons tout de suite su quoi en faire, ce soir c'est...
Pâtes au saumon ! 😋
