Earlier this year we circulated a survey to our Travelers’ Circle, looking to gauge interest in locations for potential future tours.

So, with these results in mind, and after consultation with Kathy, Kelly spent the first several weeks of August in Wales, a popular request of our travelers. (What a fun part of the job!)

And Kelly can see why this was a popular request - Wales has a fascinating history, a unique culture, scores of castles, lovely small towns, ancient sites, interesting remnants of mining industries, beautiful scenery, and an incredible natural environment.

There’s plenty to appreciate about this special country, and we’re excited about the potential here for a possible new tour!

The Mediterranean Provence Experience is almost here! Our crew was in the Bandol area today, putting the final arrangements in place for a beautiful trip. This time around, our friend, Janicke, an experienced and passionate guide, will join our group for a couple of outings. Originally from Norway, she has lived in Provence for 30 years and loves sharing the exceptional South of France lifestyle with visitors. She can’t wait to meet our travellers to experience the sea, the sun, the vineyards, an island and a delicious picnic!

We've just started taking bookings for our 2027 European Christmas Experience, November 29 to December 11... definitely a bucket-list trip! This 12-night experience is based for four nights each in Salzburg, Austria; Munich, Germany; and Colmar in Alsace, France.

From each base we make a day trip to the countryside and small villages. We enjoy the markets, traditions, decorations, lights, music, and cuisine in each area. Christmas in Europe is truly magical!

At the end of July, Kelly and Kristin finished up their final bits of research for next year’s new Heart of Scotland Experience. They were incredibly busy following every lead, trying out new experiences and visiting new locations, strengthening relationships with local partners, and making new friends (human and canine, alike).

Now comes the time to make important decisions about what to include in our week-long itinerary, to create the best and most rewarding experience possible for our travelers. It will be more hard work, as Kelly and Kristin have seen and done (and eaten!) enough interesting and exciting things to fill multiple weeks. This is a region rich in history, culture, and warm welcomes, with stunning landscapes to boot... and we can’t wait to share it with you!
