Customarily, the Executive Producer (moi) kicked off the show to speak about the Live TV process, how voting worked, where to walk in accepting your Emmy, length of acceptance speeches, etc. I think the following year I took the stage in S*M pants from Trash & Vaudeville... Not even kidding.
