Shyfte 4.0

We had a networking dinner at Buri Sriping Riverside Resort & Spa, and this marks the end of Shyfte 4.0. Thank you Chiang Mai University for the superb hospitality and memorable experience. Now that the project is ending, watch out for our findings. We will share them with you soon.

Till then, thank you for your support and let's rock IR4.0!

We are now at the final leg of the project - SHYFTE Plenary Meeting at Chiang Mai University, 29 Aug - 2 Sept 2022.

We are missing our Project Coordinator, Prof Yacine, and the rest of the project members. But, the show must go on, we are excited to complete the project reports and soaking in the cultures of Chiang Mai and Thailand!

Day 5 - It is the last day of our Plenary Meeting in Malaysia. we have finalised most of the items for our deliverables, and thoughts on how we can sustain our Learning Centre. It is interesting to see the potentials of this project, especially its impact on talent management for IR4.0.

Now that we have concluded our Meeting in Malaysia, we hope to meet you in Lisbon next month. Stay tuned!

Day 4 - Today we meet at Menara Razak, UTM KL. We had the best 360-degree view of Kuala Lumpur from the meeting room.

We are honoured to have the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Ts. Dr. Abd Latif bin Saleh, to officiate the meeting at UTM KL. Thank you Prof!

Day 3 - We visited LoRA network facilities at WiPNET Research Centre, Faculty of Engineering, UPM.

The LoRA modules, indoor and outdoor Gateway, are used for IoT-based case studies such as for air quality monitoring and management.

The outdoor LoRA Gateway was deployed on the rooftop of Tower Block, just above WiPNET. We had the best view in Serdang!

It is Day 2 of SHYFTE Plenary Meeting at Faculty of Engineering, UPM. We are honoured to have the Deputy Dean (Academic and Alumni) to join us for the Official Opening.

We enjoyed the nice weather by taking a group photo by the Library. Some fresh air and green views are indeed rejuvenating for the new day!

The consortium is meeting at UPM and UTM Malaysia this week. We are excited to finalise our deliverables and learning centre development, hopefully it can benefit the students and SMEs in the areas of IR4.0, based on our 4 pilots.

It will be an exciting week and we look forward to a fruitful and fun meeting!
