L’échantillonage a souvent stimulé mon parcours créatif. Comme point de départ, comme fil conducteur ou d’inspiration, comme arrangeur ou créateur d’ambiance. Il a accompagné mon processus créatif et continuera à l’accompagner mais n’a pas été présent sur le nouvel album, entièrement composé avec deux synthétiseurs et une boîte à rythmes.
Sampling has often stimulated my creative journey. As a starting point, as a guiding thread or source of inspiration, as an arranger or mood setter. It has accompanied my creative process and will continue to do so, but it was not present on the new album, which was entirely composed with two synthesizers and a drum machine.

Chaque morceau qui finit par être publié m’a accompagné pendant un temps plus ou moins long et j’espère qu’il vous accompagnera de la même manière.
Le temps de genèse et de maturation est celui que je préfère, c’est un moment précieux, excitant où je me sens à ma place, vivant, comme un humble serviteur d’un alignement de facteurs qui coïncident. En fait, je ne cours jamais après un morceau, je me contente de servir et d’enrichir des évidences. Les évidences sont rares par rapport aux heures passées à les invoquer et ma vie se résume finalement à un parcours laborieux de recherche, parfois récompensé par une nouvelle œuvre, similaire à celle du chercheur d’or finalement gratifié par la trouvaille d’une pépite.

Each piece that ends up being published has accompanied me for a more or less long time and I hope it will accompany you in the same way.
The time of genesis and maturation is what I prefer, it is a precious, exciting moment where I feel in my place, alive, like a humble servant of an alignment of coinciding factors. In fact, I never chase after a piece, I just serve and enrich the evidence. The evidence is rare compared to the hours spent invoking it and my life ultimately boils down to a laborious journey of research, sometimes rewarded by a new work, similar to that of the gold digger finally rewarded by the discovery of a nugget.
